CoQ10
A prospective randomised controlled trial published in Reproductive Biomedicine Online evaluated the effect coenzyme Q10 for ovulation and found that ovulation occurred in 65.9% in the CoQ10 group compared with only 15.5% in the control group.
The pregnancy rate was significantly higher in the CoQ10 group 37.3% versus the control group 6.0%.
Inositol and ovulation frequency in women with PCOS Taken from European review for medical and pharmacological sciences -- A total of 283 women with PCOS were randomised in two groups, receiving either inositol or placebo. The analysis revealed that 94% of women in the inositol-treated group successfully ovulated whereas 87% of women ovulated in the placebo group.
In summary, the inositol-treated group had a significantly increased frequency of ovulation compared with the placebo group
